"Strip Paintings and 8 Glass Panels"

Published on the occasion of the artist's 2012 exhibition at Wako Works of Art, this catalogue features the artist's latest Strip Paintings, complex, digitally processed images of his own oil painting from 1990; a sculptural work 8 Glass Panels using large panes of glass; a series of photographs overpainted with enamel, entitled MV, and installation shots. The catalogue also features an in-depth description of the production method of the Strip series, and a new essay by independent curator Sumi Hayashi. Japanese and English bilingual text.
